Startup Asia

Calling all  entrepreneurs, start-up founders and investors located in Asia. In less than a month time, Penn Olson – the Asian Tech Blog is going to hold Startup Asia Singapore. To be exact, it will be on 2nd and 3rd February 2012, at Singapore Post Centre.

More about Startup Asia:

For what: Startup Asia Singapore showcases newly launched and product-ready tech startups. It showcases only startups which are born in Asia. Of course, Startup Asia Singapore will have, as the name suggests, more startups that originate from Singapore.

For who: Early stage startup investors and entrepreneurs who wants to showoff your product. Tech enthusiasts are welcome to join us too. All entrepreneurs who are attending Startup Asia Singapore will be included in a list which will be sent to our list of investors.

Key Events:

Coffee Chats with some of the most renowned names in Asia: Alvin Yap (TMG), Arvind Rajan(LinkedIn), Dr. Serkan Toto(TechCrunch), James Tong(Gobi Partners), Saumil Navanati(Chalkboard), Steven Goh(mig33), Shailendra Jit Singh(Sequoia Capital India), Tatsuo Tsutsumi (GREE Ventures) to name a few. Startup Arena: a competition where about 10 to 15 Startups will pitch and challenge for US$10,000 in cash. Only one will be able to walk away with the check.
