ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
TECHVENTURE 2011 is presented by National Research Foundation (NRF) and Singapore Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (SVCA) and organised by Asiasons WFG, in partnership with SingTel Innov8. This is Asia’s premier event for the VC/PE community to engage with and pick the next generation’s greatest innovators. The summit event will draw ultra high net worth individual investors, Venture Capitalists, Private Equity Fund managers, Limited Partners (LP) and Sovereign Wealth Funds (SWF).
Another key highlight of the conference will beAccelerate@Techventure 2011, organized by SingTel Innovation Exchang (SiX) and SingTel Innov8, to showcase pivotal technologies that will change enterprises and developer’s businesses in the near future. Industry leaders will provide insight on Machine-to-Machine (“M2M”), Near Field Communications (“NFC”), Mobile Advertising and Mobile Gaming, to provoke thinking of how these technologies can be leveraged to create business advantages.
Accelerate@Techventure 2011 will again feature its popular ‘Asia’s Top 50 Apps’ contest that allows industry peers to nominate and vote for the top web and mobile applications for the year.

Win 2 media passes to Techventure 2011!
#StartupLokal in conjuction with e27, the organizer of Asia’s top 50 Apps (http://asiatop50apps.com/) is giving out free media passes to two lucky winners. The terms are:
- Email us a link of an article you wrote. It should be about event coverage, either in Bahasa or in English, it can be coming from a news portal or your own blog. If you don’t have an article about event coverage, you may create a new one, post it and submit the link to us.
- You are willing to write two articles after the event. One about the Techventure 2011, and the other about Asia’s Top 50 Apps. Both should be written in English. Both article will be displayed at the StartupLokal.org website.
- Submission ends at 5th October 2011 and the winner announcement will be held at 6th October 2011 via this page, twitter and direct email.
- Submission should be sent to [email protected] with “Techventure 2011” as subject.
- There will be no correspondence via email, but you can further ask about this competition via our comment system below.
- Jury decisions are final and may not be challenged or amended.
That’s it! Each of you will receive one media pass to the event. Transportation and accommodation not included. Don’t submit if you are not planning to travel to Singapore.
