Nokia & #StartupLokal community is back with its 17th meetup! On Regional Entrepreneurship Summit 2011 in Bali, both Minister of Trade Ibu Mari Elka Pangestu and Secretary Hillary Clinton mention about the importance of having more female entrepreneurs in the country.

On the role of #StartupLokal as the biggest digital startup community in Indonesia, we want to highlight about the lack of Female Startup Founders in Indonesia. We’re going to discuss about why it happened and how to promote the use of technology as catalyst for women development. We’re inviting successful women in Indonesia IT world to share their experiences. We also going to have video conference with Women2.org founders, organization that has a vision in increasing the number of female founders of technology startup.

Some potential female founders are also invited to pitch their ideas in the event.

Rundown:
6.00 – 7.00 : Registration and dinner
7.00 – 8.00 : 4-5 female founder pitch about their startups/startups idea.
8.00 – 9.00 : Panelists discussion with the female founders in Indonesia and US.
