#StartupLokal community is back with its 15th meetup! This event is special and really big and is a part of PPKI (Pekan Produk Kreatif Indonesia) event, which is held at room Cendrawasih 2, Jakarta Convention Center.

This event is powered by Project Eden. What is project Eden? http://eden.co.id Project Eden is a startup accelerator. This startup accelerator is startup ecosystem, located at Menteng area, with a space of 500 m² that can hold up to 30 startups simultaneously. 20 startups had 5 minutes pitch session each to share about their startups ideas. The judging panelists are investors who is looking for the best startups idea to invest. This program is a part of PPKI Business Connect event, where several other investors are invited to this event.

Top 5 pitches are: Bumble Games that have made game such as MMORPG games, and more even on Facebook, Telunjuk is a product search site where you can compare prices and search for the lowerst price with best quality in Notebooks, Mobile Phones, and Flights, PointBump is a place where you can find great stuff to do at your city, Arsanesia is a game studio focused on branding Indonesian legends onto its game, LocalBrand.co.id is a website where local clothing brands can make their own website and integrated with LocalBrand. All 5 of them got a chance to have a lunch with the Projkect Eden panelists.

After that we had the meetup with Megain Widjaja, Andi Sadha, Calvin Kizana, Kevin Mintaraga and Natali Ardianto sharing their experiences in their own respective fields. They also shared how they build their own business from ground up. Starting from zero is hard, but at the end of the road it’s all worth it.

With a lot of support to start-ups, if you really are interested and have passion in this field, please don’t wait, don’t just speak out but start doing something, take the first step, and that might be joining the Project Eden. See you all at the next meet-up!
